Ayşegül Doğan has graduated from the Biology Department and Molecular Biology and Genetics Department at İstanbul University. She had her master's and PhD degree from the Biotechnology Program at Yeditepe University. She worked on stem cell biology, wound healing and cancer during her graduate education. She did her postdoc in National Institute of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), Cell and Developmental Biology Group. She is working on pluripotent stem cells, gene editing, organoid technology, cellular differentiation and obesity.
