Stem Gene Laboratory

Developmental journay of pluripotent stem cells

Our lab focuses on pluripotent stem cell resarch. We are trying to understand regulatory
pathways of pluripotent stem cell differentiation into terminal cells. We are trying to
understand embryonic development and gene regulation using pluripotent stem cells. We
are working on in vitro embryogenesis processes to exlpore mammalian embryonic
development using model systems.

We are trying to generate novel organoid systems from pluripotent stem cells which might
be promising candidates for further clinical applications. We are working on the generation
of terminally differentiated cells from pluripotent stem cells for motor neuron diseases. Our
ultimate goal is to use all of our differentiation protocols, organoids and cell types for clinical
applications. We are currently using our cellular and organoid systems for drug testing,
toxicology analysis and research. We are giving services to other researchers using our
organoid systems.
